Responsibility and hard work are our nation's greatest strengths. Leadership is needed to provide the protection of Labor, best schools for our children, growth opportunities for businesses, healthcare for the elderly, fiscal responsibility for our future, safe neighborhoods for our families and a clean environment for all. Cynthia is a Democrat devoted to the core values of the American Dream. She has consistently led her community in getting out the vote and keeping everyone focused on the issues confronting the American people. Upon meeting Congresswoman Diane Watson, Cynthia's role in future campaigns became clear.
At the request of the Democrats, Cynthia ran in 2004 on a shoestring budget against the most well-funded GOP House member in the nation. Despite being a first time candidate, Cynthia captured 43% of the vote. Emboldened by her strong performance, she will complete the job of unseating Congressman David Dreier this November. Cynthia has proven her commitment to the people of the district and is ready to continue that commitment in the halls of Congress.
